14:01 MDT Welcome to Colorful Colorado sign greeted us on I-76 near Julesburg, CO. Yes, the Blue Comet has the mandatory tire chains ⛓️ onboard to meet Colorado requirements that start tomorrow. No, we will not be needing to use them.
15:30 MDT stopped at Loves near Brush, CO to complete mandatory 30 minute break. Fresh coffee was acquired.
