Big Rig Travels day began at 10:12 am EDT near Stonecrest, GA. It was 77 degrees and partly cloudy. We are starting our trip to the shipper near South Fulton, GA.
Pilot stop near Atlanta, GA at 10:37 am for coffee. Steve advised this may have been a mistake as there were lots of backed up traffic.
Arrival to check in at the shipper at 11:42 am. “We’re in the wrong spot, but she said everybody makes the same mistake.” Arrival at the correct location at 11:48 am, backed the trailer into a dock door, dropped, and then parked bobtail at 12:08 pm. At 1:58 pm, “we are loaded, that wasn’t bad, an hour.” We move to hook up our trailer and adjust our tandems.
“OK, ready to go all?” at 2:25 pm.
Petro stop at 3:14 pm to complete a CAT scale. We were 40 pounds over on the drives, we are not going to worry about that, we will burn off the fuel.
Arrive at the Love’s near Commerce, GA, struggled to get an open parking spot, “you better not block my spot, ha ha that spot was mine.”
Big Rig Steve officially done at 6:26 pm, it was 85 degrees and raining. Stream ends at 6:51 pm.
Numbers: 354 miles to receiver.
Clocks: 4:20 hours on 11 hr, 4:20 hours on 14 hr, 62:14 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
