Three states in two hours

Big Rig Steve officially done at 13:25 CDT safely parked near Granite City, Illinois.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 6:53 CDT near Memphis, Tennessee.  We are continuing our trip to Edwardsville, IL.  

Welcome to Arkansas at 7:07 CDT crossing the Mississippi River.

At 7:09 CDT weigh mass station.  No bypass.  BRS says “Oh that’s not good.”  He, however, has no issues.

Stopped at the Love’s near West Memphis, AR for coffee at 7:12 CDT.

Welcome to Missouri at 8:34 CDT.  THat’s our third state already today.

Near Steele, MO at 8:43 CDT another weigh station, closed, “Yeahhhh, closed, ain’t nobody home.”

Authorization for refer fuel finally received, when we stopped at 9:31 CDT for fuel and coffee near Matthews MO.  “Halfway there.”

Crossing the Mississippi River again and into Illinois at 12:14 CDT near Columbia.

Arrived at the receiver at 12:44 CDT.  Checked in with delivery and the next load as well. 

By 13:13 CDT, dropped trailer and another trip completed and in the books.  The next trailer is in the door and getting loaded, but will not be ready until later tonight, so will probably pick up in the morning, it is not scheduled to be ready until 5:00 CDT.

BRS bobtailed out of the customer for the night, parked nearby to wait for the next load.

Numbers:  0 miles to receiver/shipper.  We covered 317 miles including a delivery rolling out of Tennessee, into Arkansas, into Missouri and finally into Illinois.  We are 44 gallons from Platinum and 9 gallons from DEF bonus.

Clocks: 5:15 hours on 11 hr,  6:49 hours on 14 hr,  43:23 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.   BRS will start broadcast tomorrow after pickup.  May sleep in first, or maybe not.   BRS shares that he will pick up load tomorrow morning, then drive to Belvidere, IL which is near delivery  city of Elkhorn, WI.  He will get a free night at the house tomorrow night.  Delivery is Thursday, 8/22/24.  Choose the BRT YouTube channel alarm bell to receive notifications for the start of our broadcast.
