Big Rig Steve officially done at 18:34 CDT safely parked near Memphis, Tennessee.
Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 8:00 CDT near Toomsuba, Mississippi at the Welcome Center rest area. We are continuing our trip to Brookhaven, MS.
Our first stop is at the TA for coffee at 8:12 CDT.
Near Flowood, MS we stopped at the Love’s at 9:56 CDT for fuel and some good coffee.
Arrived at the receiver near Brookhaven, MS at 11:27 CDT. Completed the drop and hook and was rolling out by 11:57 CDT. Another trip safely completed. We start our next trip to shipper near Memphis, TN where a preloaded trailer waits.
Back to Love’s near Flowood, MS for more fuel at 13:03 CDT as well as completing our mandatory 30 minute break at 13:33 CDT.
There was a rest area stop at 16:32 CDT near Hernando, MS.
At 16:40 CDT, a wave from BRS to the road crew.
Welcome to Tennessee at 17:00 CDT near Memphis.
Stopped at the Love’s at 17:13 CDT near Memphis for a trailer wash out.
Still near Memphis drop and hook at the shipper at 18:00 CDT.
Filled refer tank at the Love’s at 18:49 just after leaving the shipper.
Check weight at the CAT scale at 19:23 CDT, “calculating, calculating, processing, we are legal!”
Numbers: We covered 292 miles including one delivery, one pickup rolling in Mississippi and Tennessee. We are 86 gallons to Platinum for September.
Clocks: ?? hours on 11 hr, hours on 14 hr, hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
