Challenging Broadcast Day
Big Rig Steve officially done, safely parked at the Mississippi Welcome Center
Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 13:02 EDT near Emerson, Georgia, a partly cloudy start to the day. Steve reports a road crew meet up prior to broadcast starting, another medallion handed out. He is headed towards the shipper first then towards the receiver near Brookhaven, MS.
Arrived at the shipper to drop trailer at 13:35 EDT near Kennesaw, GA. “Good news or bad news, what do you want first?” He goes on to tell us the load is not ready, but it is halfway loaded.
He leaves the shipper at 14:39 EDT after hooking up to trailer.
He swings into Pilot at 15:48 EDT near Villa Rica, GA to check weight at CAT scale. We are legal, a little heavy in the back, but legal.
Love’s stop at Waco, GA at 16:13 EDT. Raining!! Free truck wash, BRS always has a good spin on things. He gets some fuel, so don’t need to stop for awhile.
At 15:44 EDT we cross into Alabama near Muscadine.
In Moody, Alabama we stop at Love’s at 16:49 EDT. We have several starts and stops on the stream, and Steve updates the crew later in the day on Twitter/X that he stopped at the MS Welcome center.
