12:45 Return to yard for special paperwork for this trip to pickup a empty trailer.
14:30 arrived at location for the trailer pickup. Yes, we are at a landfill. Trailer is found but it is not empty. Apparently trailer has a load of material that had been frozen which caused it to be destroyed. This was to been disposed of at this landfill. BRS contacted bosses and at 15:30 was instructed to cancel that trip and return to Gary yard to pick up refer trailer for our next trip. Blue Comet now needs a wash.
16:03 stopped at Loves near DeMotte, IN for coffee, two hotdogs, free gum and bucket of açaí .
17:15 picked up refer trailer at Gary yard.
18:10 rolled on I-90 thru downtown Chicago.
20:10 stopped for trailer washout near Caledonia, WI.
Road Crew meet up at the Blue Beacon with Jonathon.
20:55 Rolling I-41 through Milwaukee, WI.
Numbers: 91 mile 146 km to the shipper, we covered 279 miles 449 km.
Clocks : 4:10 hours on 11 hr, 4:42 hours on 14 hr, 56:28 hours on 70 hr, do not gain back any hours until next Thursday morning. We are 135 gallons away from Loves Gold status for September.
