Arrival at the shipper near Champaign, IL at 9:57 am CDT to check in to drop and hook a new preloaded trailer.
Mass weigh check on site. We had 11,400 on steer, 32, 240 on drives, 33,160 on the trailer. “We’re good” at 10:46 am. Starting our trip to Indianapolis, IN.
Love’s stop near Oakwood, IL at 11:28 am. Mass weigh recheck, “Processing…ok our drives are exactly 200 pounds heavier, we are still legal.”
“Alright, welcome back to Indiana”. Back to Eastern time at 1:03 pm near Covington as we lose an hour.
Arrival near Indianapolis, IN to drop our trailer. Stream ends at 2:24 pm.
Stream resumes at 3:27 pm, trailer is swapped and we completed our 30 minute break. Starting our trip back to the shipper in Champaign, IL.
Welcome back to Illinois at 3:55 pm CDT, we gained back an hour near Danville.
Love’s stop near Oakwood for the second time today at 4:15 pm for refer tank fuel and fresh coffee.
Arrival at the shipper near Champaign, IL at 5:08 pm to complete the drop and hook of a new preloaded trailer. Starting our trip to Union City, GA. We are “on time to delivery.”
Weigh mass check on site. We are a tad heavy on our drives. Steve poses a math equation for the road crew, how much fuel do we need to burn to be legal?
Big Rig Steve officially done at 7:22 pm near Effingham, IL at the Flying J. It is 87 and clear. Watch party begins, and stream ends at 8:05 pm.
Numbers: 556 miles to receiver. We covered 456 miles rolling in and out of Indiana and Illinois, and hooked to the fourth trailer of the day.
Clocks: 0:30 hours on 11 hr, 0:42 hours on 14 hr, 34:57 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. Next trip picks up at 7:00 am on Sunday at the same location as the delivery.
