Love’s stop at Fond du Lac, WI at 10:11 am for coffee.
Arrival at Little Chute, WI at 11:17 am to complete the drop and hook of the preload. Status changed to “on time to delivery” at 11:37 pm. We are starting our trip to Melrose Park, IL.
Heading back to Fond du Lac to get a Cat Scale and coffee at the Love’s at 12:34 pm. Truck sitting on the scale, Steve hoping they weren’t taking a break. They weren’t. After the weigh, “We’re fine.” Over 35,000 lbs, he likes to double check on the scale. “Next trip, anytime tomorrow, it’s a preload.” He stops for a coffee, ends up also getting onions with his hot dogs. He reports he was only in the store for 8 minutes, not bad. Nobody behind us in the fuel island. We have 147 miles to go.
Slow down near Milwaukee, WI at 1:44 pm.
Love’s stop near Oak Creek, WI at 2:18 pm. “Fill up fuel time.” First pump doesn’t work, so needed to circle around to get to another pump. 157 gallons to gold.
Welcome to Illinois at 3:14 pm.
Slow down at 3:52 pm as we near Chicago suburbs.
Arrived at the receiver for delivery at 4:47 pm near Melrose Park, IL.
