Daily Summary for 7/6/2023

Big Rig Steve officially done for the day safely parked as Bobtail Bob near Albany, Oregon.

Title: I-5 trip today 

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began 9:53 PDT near Lakewood, Washington after completing last evening’s delivery. 

We rolled out of the mini mall where we finished our split onto I-5 southbound.

10:45 PDT stopped near Tumwater, WA at the Flying Hook . 

Broadcast resumed at 13:34 PDT Drop and hook at the drop yard to pickup next load near Troutdale, Oregon.

14:35 PDT stopped at very busy Flying Hook designated fuel ⛽️ location to get the Blue Comet fuel as we had been on fumes. Yep, this was 35 gallon fill, just enough for the final push of the trip. 

16:04 PDT arrived at receiver camera switched to Stealth mode, sound muted and stream ended at 16:08 PDT  (see BRS blog post).

Numbers : we covered  239 miles km rolling out of Washington into Oregon. 

Clocks : we started the day with 12:44 hours on 70 hr, gain back  6:52 hours tomorrow morning.
