Big Rig Travels Monday began at 7:20 am. It is 71° and partly cloudy near Albuquerque, NM. One recording 8:30 hrs. We are continuing our trip to Denver, CO. We had parked outside of Love’s, and rolled back onto I-40.
Big Rig Steve points out dust or smog hanging over the city at 7:24 am.
Exit onto I-25 north at 7:35 am.
Love’s stop near Las Vegas, NM at 9:34 am. “It’s been years since we’ve been out here. Alright, lets tell the boss we need fuel.” Steve updates us afterwards with fuel status, “Oh, 349 gallons to Diamond, yeah.”
Welcome to Colorado at 11:43 am near Trinidad.
Colorado weigh mass station at 11:56 am, no issues.
Love’s stop at 12:34 pm near Walsenburg, CO for coffee.
“Alright, welcome to Denver” at 3:15 pm on I-255.
A mess almost occurred at 3:34 pm on an exit ramp.
Arrival at the staging area near the receiver in Denver at 3:46 pm.
