Big Rig Travels Thursday began at 9:14 am CDT near Northlake, IL. It was 75 degrees and sunny as we are leaving the paid parking lot.
A traffic slowdown to start the day.
Arrival at shipper near Joliet, IL at 10:16 am to complete the drop and hook. Leaving at 10:49 am. Status changed to “on time to delivery.” We are starting our trip to Streetsboro, OH heading onto I-80 east.
Another slowdown at 11:30 am before we crossed into Indiana at 11:37 am near Munster.
Stopped at the I80/I90 travel plaza near Portage, IN at 12:01 pm.
Stopped at a parking area near Westville, IN at 12:37 pm to add to his coffee.
Welcome to Ohio near NW township at 3:44 pm.
Big Rig Steve officially done at the Lover’s near Perrysburg, OH at 5:00 pm. We are two hours from delivery.
Numbers: 120 miles to receiver. We covered 291 miles rolling out of Illinois, through Indiana and into Ohio. We will top off the refer tank tomorrow morning before leaving.
Clocks: 4:57 hours on 11 hr, 6:34 hours on 14 hr, 36:49 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
