Covington, TN to Shepherdville, KY

Big Rig Travels Wednesday began at 10:54 am CDT.  It was 82 degrees and clear near Covington, TN.  “Just finished 10 hour break and inspection, we need to check our weight at Love’s and get fuel.  Seatbelt, lights on, let’s go”

Status changed to “on time to delivery.”  We are starting our trip to Delaware, OH.

US51 rest area stop, “we’ve never been in this rest area, no overnight parking.  What is the point of a rest area?” near Henning, TN.  BRS sets up navigation during his stop.  Zelda is now activated at 11:00 am.

Stop at Love’s near Dywersberg, TN at 11:46 am.  Cat Scale and coffee as Zelda has several reoccurring announcements, even while Steve was inside.  He arrived back into the truck and wondered if she had been talking while he was away, which she had.

12:34 pm, Steve discussed Belvidere Heritage Days and the broadcast plans as to which some road crew that have already committed to coming.  Steve encouraged them to bring their own chairs.

I-69, welcome to Kentucky at 12:58 pm near Fulton.

Entered mass weigh station at 1:56 pm near Kuttawa, TN, no issues.

We exit I-69 at 2:39 pm to the Western Kentucky Parkway near White Plains, KY. 

We entered the eastern time zone at Leitchfield, KY at 4:54 pm.

I-65 north near Elizabethtown, KY at 5:14 pm.

Love’s at Shepherdville, KY at 5:53 pm after a driver moved a box truck for us and left an available parking spot.

Steve reports we will fuel in the morning.

Numbers:  256 miles to receiver.  It is a 5:00 pm delivery tomorrow at a grocery store distribution center.  

Clocks: 5:15 hours on 11 hr,  7:34 hours on 14 hr,  44:20 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
