Big Rig Travels broadcast day began 12:36 CDT near Malta, Illinois. Trip had been in progress since 11:00 CDT. Late broadcast start due to not one, but three, phone updates that were needed. 12:50 CDT stopped for mass/weight check, fuel ⛽️, and fresh coffee at Loves near Rochelle, IL on I-88.
14:27 CDT we rolled through the bypass lane at the weigh station.
14:30 CDT rolled over the Mississippi River into Iowa I-80 near LeClair (home of Antique Archeology American Pickers)
Numbers : 994 mile 1599 km to the receiver, we covered 390 miles 627 km including pickup at the shipper, rolling out of Illinois and across most of Iowa
Clocks : 3:20 hours on 11 hr, 5:11 hours on 14 hr, 54:26 hours on 70 hr, do not gain back any hours. We reached Loves Platinum status for July unlimited coffee ☕️, showers, 3 cents per gallon back on fuel purchases for the month.
