Big Rig Travels Tuesday began at 9:09 am EDT. It was 74 degrees and overcast.  We were leaving the shipper near Cleveland, OH. Three recordings today: 3 hrs, 4:30 hrs, 3:30 hrs.  Status changed to “on time to delivery”.  We are starting our trip to North Aurora, IL.  “Off we go.”

I-90 west at 9:22 am, “Are we there yet? So yesterday, we went, took an Uber, to downtown Cleveland Holiday Inn Express downtown.”  Steve advised he had a very enjoyable walk around downtown, very, very nice.  He had a magnificent breakfast before leaving this morning.

“Need to find a place to scale this load out” at 9:29 am.  “I think we’re alright, but want to make sure.”

Cat scale weigh mass check near Avon, OH at the Pilot at 9:38 am.  “We are good.”  Coffee is then acquired.

Welcome to Illinois near Lansing at 2:43 pm.

Experience a slow down near I-294 near Chicago Ridge, IL at 3:04 pm. 

Arrival at receiver near N Aurora at 4:00 pm.  2nd recording ends.

At 5:15 pm, final recording begins.  Steve is leaving receiver, another trip successfully completed. We are now starting our trip to the next shipper.

Arrival at the shipper at 6:26 pm near Joliet, IL to check in.  

We hit the Cat Scale at the Petro near Gary, IL at 7:48 pm.  We were perfectly on 34000 on the drives.

Big Rig Steve officially done at 8:41 pm CDT at the I-90/I-80 Indiana Toll Road Travel Plaza near Rolling Prairie, IN.

Numbers:  291 miles to receiver near Streetsboro, OH.  We covered 510 miles, 2 trailers, 3 customers.  We were rolling out of Ohio, through Indiana, in and out of Illinois and back into Indiana.

Clocks: 0:37 hours on 11 hr,  0:52 hours on 14 hr,  57:17 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
