Daily Summary for 5/3/2025

Nashville, TN-Covington, TN-Kuttawa, KY

Big Rig Travels Saturday began at 10:56 am near Nashville, TN.  It is 63 degrees and raining.  “Good morning, everyone.” Three total trips to take us through the weekend into next week.  BRS explains the refer trouble from the last trip, which ended up being a babysitting, restarting the refer to save the load.  Steve also wanted us to listen to a new song “2 million miles” was made for future BRT radio. 

Love’s fuel stop near Holladay, TN at 1:01 pm.

Leaving shipper  at 4:08 pm near Covington, TN.

Honk, honk, honk.  Steve honked Blue Comet horn.  “Made that kid’s day, whoop, whoop” near Dyersburg, IN.

“Alright, crossing over the Cumberland River” near Kuttawa, KY at 7:03 pm.

“Alright, let’s see if there’s any room at the inn” as Steve looks for overnight parking.  He is parked at 7:14 pm.  It is 54 degrees as the sun was setting in our line of sight.  “Bingo, bingo everything looks good.” “So that’s all we have for the day.” 

Numbers:  408 miles to receiver, unload Monday afternoon.  We covered 351 miles rolling out of Tennessee and into Kentucky.  “We picked up our preload 5 hours early to get a massive head start.  Excellent day today.”

Clocks: 0:58 to a 30 minute break, 3:44 hours on 11 hr,  5:00 hours on 14 hr,  3:44 hours on 70 hr.  Gain back 9:00 hours tomorrow morning.
