“First thing we are going to do is visit Love’s which thankfully is right around the corner.”
Stopped at 8:49 am at the Love’s for coffee near Elk Grove Village.
Welcome to Indiana at 10:13 am near Hammond.
Weight mass station near Lowell, IN at 10:44 am. No issues.
At 11:03 am we are “65-65-65” We are on I-65, we are going 65 mph, and it is 65 degrees out. “What do we win?”
Off of I-65 near Lebanon, IN, we need to get fuel at the Love’s, stopping near Whitestown, IN at 1:31 pm to top off the refer.
Recording ends at delivery near Lebanon, IL at 1:46 pm. It’s a drop, and no recording inside.
2nd recording starts at 3:06 pm. Refer has just been washed out. Shipper appointment is at 9:30 pm tonight, but we will arrive early in case it is ready early. Status changed to “Heading to shipper” near Washington, IN. Onto I-465 then south on I-69.
Recording ends at 5:18 pm when signal dropped out. We are in Washington, IN near shipper.
3rd recording starts at 6:06 pm in Washington, IN after leaving shipper. Status changed to “On time to delivery”. Starting our trip to Forest Park, Georgia. It is 72 and cloudy. We are leaving early, the load was ready when we arrived. Zelda is trying to get Steve to turn onto a closed road. She is unsuccessful.
Back on to I-69 at 6:26 pm.

Steve advised that Kentucky is a safe haven state. Truckers can park in weigh stations, even if they are closed.

Love’s stop to park at Madisonville, KY where there is lots of available parking. Parked by 7:06 pm.

Numbers: 378 miles to receiver, with a live unload appointment tomorrow at 9:30 pm. We can park on customer property. We covered 431 miles rolling out of Illinois, through Indiana and into Kentucky, including a delivery and shipping appointment. “I think we kicked butt today.” BRS recording ends after playing BRS new favorite road crew song.
Clocks: 3:00 until 30 minute break, 2:13 hours on 11 hr, 3:02 hours on 14 hr, 55:25 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
