Dropping the Load in Gary, Bobtailing Home to Belvidere

Big Rig Steve broadcast day officially done at 12:41 CDT near Gary, Indiana.  Website trip map later showed the Blue Comet was making its way back home to World Headquarters.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 8:01 CDT at a truck stop where Steve had stayed the night in Little Chute, Wisconsin. Rolling onto I-41 south at 8:07 CDT. Stream stops at 8:43 CDT near Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Broadcast resumes at 8:58 CDT at the Love’s near Fond du Lac, WI.  Entering Milwaukee, WI at 10:05 CDT.  Welcome to Illinois at 10:57 CDT near Zion.  I-290 entering Chicago, IL at 12:00 CDT.  Welcome to Indiana at 12:29 CDT.  Did the toll booth shuffle at 12:31 CDT near Hammond, IN.  Steve was under the weather and left load at Gary for another driver to take to South Carolina.

 

Numbers: We covered 339 miles 545 km rolling from Appleton, WI to Gary, IN to Belvidere, IL.

Clocks: 58:53 hours on 70 hr when we started the day.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
