Riding in Ohio
Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 10:45 am EDT near Hinkley, Ohio. 47 degrees and sunshine as we leave the receiver and starting our trip to the next shipper in Groveport, Ohio.
I-71 rest area stop at 10:59 am, beautiful fall colors we view out of the Blue Comet window as BRS looked up trailer washout locations.
Pilot near Seville, OH at 11:20 am for coffee, and then across the street to the Blue Beacon for the trailer washout.
BRS answered the usual questions as we waited in line, like “when is delivery? Monday” Also included the Stitch and meatloaf story and the chaos that occurred last night at delivery.
Back onto I-71 at 12:32 pm and continued towards the shipper.
Love’s near Bellville, OH at 1:15 pm, stopped but had no hotdogs or onions available.
Columbus on I-270 at 2:24 pm, traffic slow down due to lane restrictions.
Arrival at shipper to drop trailer and wait for the preloaded trailer. Broadcast ends at 2:40 pm as the load will not be ready until 3:00 pm. BRS advises as the broadcast ends, we will spend the night here and start the trip tomorrow, we have two days to complete.
Numbers: 0 miles to shipper. We covered 130 miles rolling within Ohio.
Clocks: hours on 11 hr, hours on 14 hr, 18:59 hours on 70 hr. Gain back 8:04 hours tomorrow morning.
