West Pennsboro Twp, PA to Jonestown, PA
Big Rig Travels day began at 8:33 am EST. It is 32 degrees and mostly cloudy at the service travel plaza near West Pennsboro Twp, PA. We are continuing our trip to the receiver near Lititz, PA. BRS advised that we have our next trip, it is to be a live load at 12:00 pm. Later in the day we find ourselves missing this appointment due to circumstances beyond our control. It is rescheduled for tomorrow at 7:00 am. The next trip is to load at New Holland, PA going to Groveport, OH. Almost a reverse of our previous trip.
Broadcast ends as we near the receiver near Lititz, PA to drop our loaded trailer at 9:44 am.
Broadcast resumes at 11:34 am. It is 38 degrees and mostly cloudy. We are bobtail bob, parked at a Weis grocery store parking lot, still in Lititz. Steve advises that he had taken the opportunity to stop at the store to pick up some supplies. We are starting a trailer hunt to Jonestown, PA. BRS advises he had met road crew Merlin (not Melvin) from Lancaster, PA outside of the receiver. We then take backroads of PA at 11:40 am.
Love’s stop near Union Twp, PA at 12:39 pm. Steve was fill all of Blue Comet’s tanks. Advised that the yard was nearby, that he would be going in to get a trailer and then continuing. It is later learned that by the time he got the trailer, he had missed the appointment, so was going to spend the night at the terminal and leave at 5:00 am for the shipper.

Nice daily summary about 11.11.25. I was the road crew that met Steve right after he left the receiver in Lititz, PA. Just a quick correction on my name. I am “Merlin”, not ” Melvin”. I am from Lancaster, PA which is south of Lititz, PA. I enjoy following and watching Steve’s channel! Thanks!
