Big Rig Travels day began at 9:13 am CDT. It was 68 degrees and sunshine at the Flying J near Pontoon Beach, IL. Steve was cleaning the windshield, then fresh coffee was acquired. History about this area was discussed as we left. We are starting our dead head trip to the shipper in the greater Chicago area.
Love’s stop near Hamel, IL at 9:53 am. Fuel for all tanks. 264 gallons to gold. We had to back out of the fuel island due to a big rig blocking us.
Blue Beacon for a trailer washout at 12:09 pm near Bloomington, IL.
Love’s stop near Normal, IL at 12:30 pm for coffee.
Big Rig Steve officially done at the One-Nine truck stop with $15 paid parking for the night near Bolingbrook, IL at 2:24 pm CDT. It was 84 degrees and clear.
Numbers: 1 miles to shipper, a live load at 8:00 am tomorrow morning. BRS will not broadcast until after he is loaded. We covered 259 miles rolling within Illinois.
Clocks: 1:27 hours on 70 hr. Gain back 9:53 hours tomorrow morning and a significant amount back on Tuesday to help us with our upcoming trip to Pennsylvania.
