Big Rig Travels broadcast day began 9:45 am at Henrico, Virginia, 43 degrees and sunshine. Starting our trip to Henderson, North Carolina.
Fuel stop at Love’s near Disputanta, VA at 10:30 am.
Welcome to North Carolina on I-85 near Warrenton at 12:08 pm.
Parked at the Sunoco truck stop near Henderson, NC at 12:23 pm to wait for our unload appointment time of 2:46 pm which was 8 miles away. BRS planned to show up at 1:45 pm.
Back on I-85 headed to the receiver at 1:28 pm.
Broadcast ends at 1:39 pm as we near the receiver. Broadcast resumes at 3:58 pm as we are leaving the receiver with another trip safely completed near South Henderson.
Big Rig Steve officially done at 5:20 pm safely parked at the Flying J near Graham, NC. Currently do not have a next trip.
Numbers: We covered 209 miles rolling out of Virginia and into North Carolina.
Clocks: 6:35 hours on 11 hr, 5:24 hours on 14 hr, 40:59 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
