Daily Summary for 10/18/2025

Terre Haute, IN to Gas City, IN

Big Rig Travels day began at 10:04 am.  It was 70 degrees and partly cloudy at the Love’s at Terre Haute, IN after spending the balance of yesterday here, which included a watch party.  We started our dead head trip to the drop yard near Plainfield, IN.  

A Love’s stop near Mooresville, IN at 11:06 am for refer fuel.  

Arrival at the drop yard to pick up the preloaded trailer and then Steve advised, “change of plans…held hostage, they will not let us out the gate due to overdue Calbit inspection.  Its Saturday, and they don’t even do inspections here.  By the time they let us out, we will be late for delivery.  Welcome to Saturday, things just got wrinkled up.”

Broadcast ended at 12:39 pm as the camera overheated.

Broadcast resumes at 12:50 pm, we are starting our trip to Gas City, IN.  Story time about being late to receivers.  We receive a call from planners that we need to be to receiver before 2:45 pm, we should just make that.

Love’s stop near Pendleton, IN for coffee.

Arrival at receiver near Gas City, IN at 2:38 pm.  Camera is switched into British mode.  Steve goes to check in at 2:45:20 pm.  They let us in, its going to be a “work in”.  Our next trip doesn’t load until tomorrow, near Anderson, IN, so this won’t be a problem.  Hopefully its not a long time here.
