Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at  18:28 safely parked near Phoenix, Arizona. Yes, the Blue Comet in a paid parking spot at Big Rig Resort relaxing after the long trip west. RC meet up 18:33 “(JamminJami). ” Jammie and husband SwitchBuilder met us.” Image posted on BRS twitter/X page.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began 8:17 at Pilot near Moriarty, New Mexico as our tour guide Big Rig Steve rolled back onto I-40 westbound with fresh coffee ☕️after everyone gets out of the way of the Blue Comet. Yep BRS had to snake our way out of that mess.

9:00 near Albuquerque, NM BRS comments on the beautiful mountains and a tramway that we hope to someday have enough time to stop and ride. 9:10 points out big canal in the median of I-40 

10:02 Loves coffee tanker passing the BC on I-40.   We would then stop at Loves near Milan, NM 

12:00 near Gallup, NM a Loves stop. BRS points out Rivian service van on a trailer in the fuel line. RC meetup with Rezzie Boy occurs near Lipton, AZ near state line.

13:40 rolling through Winslow, AZ.

14:30 rolling through Flagstaff AZ where at 14:34 exit on to I-17 southbound downhill towards Phoenix.

15:20 30 minute break completed at rest area.



16:35  then we stop at Loves near Mayer, AZ to get fresh coffee.

Numbers : 5 miles 8 km to the receiver, we covered  507 miles 815 km  rolling out of New Mexico into Arizona today . 8 day running total 3,057 miles 4,919 km we did pretty good this week.

Clocks : 1:41  hours on 11 hr, 1:23 hours on 14 hr, 28:27 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back any hours tomorrow morning. We are 203 gallons away from Loves Gold for November. 8.8 Mpg today 7.8 Mpg for this trip

Delivery is tomorrow, will (flip) broadcast the delivery. Leave here 7:00-7:15 local time. No next trip at this point in time, may be Friday as freight out of Phoenix is nearly non-existent.
