Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 8:06 am on the side of the road near yesterday’s receiver. It is 25 degrees and sunny. We are starting our dead head trip to the shipper near Newnon, GA. Bobtailed to the truck stop last night after delivery, and went back to pick up the trailer this morning, same trailer we brought down.
Next on the agenda would be a trailer washout near Valley, AL at 8:24 am, clean out is complete at 8:58 am. Steve advises he needs to pre-cool the trailer.
Welcome to Georgia near West Point at 10:03 am.
Love’s stop at 10:06 am near West Point, GA. Acquired more m&m’s along with the assumed fresh coffee.
Arrival near the shipper at 11:10 am for our live load. Into a door at 11:52 am. Status changed to “on time to delivery” at 12:48 pm as we were leaving the shipper. We are starting our trip to Knoxville, TN.
Cat Scale at Fairburn, GA at 1:09 pm. “A little heavy in the back”, after a little adjustment and a re-weigh, we are good to go.
Stopped at Adairsville, GA QT at 2:39 pm for lunch and coffee, potato chips and hotdogs were obtained.
Stream ended at 3:43 pm, resumed again at 4:22 pm near Cleveland, TN. Steve was not sure why stream dropped.
Love’s stop near Charleston, TN at 4:34 pm.
Big Rig Steve officially done at the Pilot near Farragut, TN at 5:46 pm. It is 19 degrees and clear. He advises the cold weather is getting to him.
Numbers: 20 miles to receiver, live unload at 6:00 am, will leave around 5:00 am. We covered 300 miles including a live load, trailer pick up and washout. Score yesterday was 1005 points, no stars and no alerts.
Clocks: 4:02 hours on 14 hr, 10:53 hours on 70 hr. Gain back 0:55 hours tomorrow morning and 1:10 the next day.
