Big Rig Travels day began at 6:58 am EST. It is 39 degrees and partly cloudy at the Love’s near Max Meadows, VA. We are continuing our trip to Vonore, TN.
Welcome to Tennessee at 8:34 am near Bristol.
Love’s stop near Mosheim, TN at 9:18 am.
Weigh mass station at 9:47 am near Mohawk, TN. Drive through, no issues.
Stopped on an on-ramp of I-40 near Knoxville, TN to fix the broadcast camera at 10:29 am and again at 10:40 am. The alien tape had released from a corner of the camera.
“Downtown Knoxville” at 10:44 am.
Weigh mass station near Farragut, TN at 11:01 am. Drive through, no issues.
Stream ends at 11:35 am as we neared the receiver near Vonore, TN.
Resumes at 1:19 pm as we are leaving the receiver, starting our dead head trip to Mount Sterling, KY, 217 miles to go.
“Alright, welcome to Kentucky” at 3:39 pm near Williamsburg.
Stopped at a rest area on I-75 to review trip requirements at 3:40 pm.
Fuel stop at the Love’s near Corbin, KY at 4:28 pm. We are now 66 gallons to platinum for February.
Arrival at the shipper near Mt. Sterling, KY at 6:38 pm to check in. Completed the drop of our empty trailer at 6:52 pm and hooked our preloaded trailer. We are starting our trip to Streetsboro, OH at 7:15 pm.
Weigh mass check at the CAT scale at the Pilot nearby at 7:20 pm. There was no free parking.
Continued on east to I-64 rest area near Morehead, KY. Clock stopped at 7:56 pm.
Numbers: 340 miles to receiver, drop whenever we get there. We covered 505 miles including a delivery and a pick up. Yesterday’s score was a 1000 and we picked up two stars.
Clocks: 36:50 hours on 70 hr. Estimated start time is 6:30 am EST. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
