Big Rig Travels day began at 7:37 am EST. It is 18 degrees and overcast at the Love’s near North Canton, OH. We are continuing our trip to Louisville, OH which is 18 miles away.
Arrival at an unusual trailer washout at 8:05 am.
Arrival at the shipper at 9:01 am to check in. “We’re early, so they are probably going to make us sit.” Backed into a dock door at 9:24 am.
Learned the trip had changed at 9:41 am and now we aren’t going to Lebanon, TN instead we are going to the Columbus, OH yard. Steve had noted that the Blue Comet is due for its Cabit inspection.
Loaded and starting our trip to Columbus at 11:21 am.
Passing the Pro-football Hall of Fame near Canton, OH at 11:45 am.
Stop at the Speedway truck stop near Orrville, OH at 12:11 pm.
Broadcast ends as we near the Columbus yard at 2:17 pm. Steve advises that there is no shop work due being closed on the weekends. The dropped trailer will be taken by a team on to Atlanta.
Steve reports a next trip loading at 5:00 am in Columbus on Monday (1/19) with a delivery in Edwardsville, IL early morning on Tuesday (1/20), but as always, anything can change between now and then.
Numbers: not discussed
Clocks: clocks should reset if we are not moving all weekend.
