Big Rig Travels day began at 6:40 am EST. It was 28 degrees and daylight was breaking at the Love’s Rural Hall, NC. We are continuing our trip to Greensboro, NC.
Arrival at the receiver near Greensboro, NC at 7:14 am. Delivery complete and starting our next trip at 8:00 am EST. We will dead head to Gaffney, SC.
Love’s stop near Salisbury, NC at 9:04 am to clean out the trailer.
“Alrighty, welcome to South Carolina” at 10:49 am near Grover.
Love’s stop near Blacksburg, SC. Fuel for the Blue Comet and refer at 10:54 am.
Arrival at the shipper at 11:32 am to check in. Load is not ready, so we bobtail bob out and parked at the One-9 truck stop near Gaffney to wait for the load to be ready. Steve gets lunch and coffee at 12:22 pm.
Returned back to the shipper at 1:32 pm to pick up the preloaded trailer. Status changed to “on time to delivery” and we are starting our trip to Joliet, IL.
“Ok welcome back to North Carolina” at 3:00 pm near Tryon, NC.
Passing the Great Smoky Mountain National Park on I-26 at 4:11 pm near Waynesville, NC.
“Alright welcome to Tennessee” near Hartford at 4:40 pm.
Welcome to Kentucky at 6:44 pm near Jelico.
Big Rig Steve officially done at the Love’s near Corbin, KY at 7:16 pm, making our own parking spot.
Numbers: 458 miles to receiver, delivery is at 5:00 pm tomorrow. We covered 466 miles including delivery and a trailer pick up.
Clocks: 0:45 hours on 11 hr, 0:45 hours on 14 hr, 34:24 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
