Big Rig Travels day began at 11:06 am. It is 40 degrees and rainy at the Love’s near Oakwood, IL. We are returning from time off. “We did lose our Denver trip, but gained three. Its cold out here, chilly. Its snowing, dang nabit.” The Denver trip, it was noted later, that another driver needed to get home, so trips were changed. We are starting our dead head trip to the shipper near Champaign, IL.
Checking in at the shipper at 11:51 am. Steve advises at 11:59 am, “Whadda you know? It’s preloaded.” Leaving the shipper at 12:35 pm after dropping and then finding an empty trailer. “We know our weight is good, allows us to get fuel.” We drop the trailer as soon as we get there, the next load is at 7:00 am. A live load tomorrow.
Love’s stop at Oakwood, IL at 1:16 pm. Streams drops at 1:36 pm, resumes at 1:59 pm noting something about a bad splitter.
