Daily Summary (Brief) for 3/23/24

Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at 15:52 EDT safely parked at Pendleton, Indiana.

Title:Beginning of Trip 2 of 2 to Get Home

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 11:44 EDT at the Love’s near Angola, Indiana.  Partly cloudy skies, rolled around to the fuel island and added 65 gallons of truck fuel.  Starting our trip to Anderson, Indiana and will eventually deliver to Gary, Indiana (initially Sterling, Illinois).  

Stopped for a trailer washout in Fort Wayne, IN.  Then, 69 gallons of fuel at the Love’s near Marion, IN.

Arrived at the shipper in Anderson, IN at 15:25 EDT, made attempt to drop trailer, won’t let us check in to drop the trailer until tomorrow.  Trip was scheduled to load on Monday, March 25.  BRS went to the Love’s again at Pendleton, IN to find parking at 15:52 EDT to wait until check in.  Steve said to enjoy the weekend.

Numbers:  We covered 141 miles 226 km rolling within Indiana.

Clocks: 8:15 hours on 11 hr,  9:26 hours on 14 hr,  40:07 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
