- Additional Notes: The ’empty’ mileage is high because Steve had to return an empty trailer to where he had originally picked it up in Sumner, Wa. This caused a delay, which necessitated a new delivery appt date. Fortunately, this mini ‘layover’ highlighted a problem in the form of a large rock snuggled into the radiator.. Thus, a new radiator had to be both ordered and approved. The Love’s team in Prosser, Wa did a great job on the Blue Beacon and Steve was able to make his new loading appt time. A quick run from Richland to Denver in two days completed the delivery without a hitch. Moveover, new scenery over Sherman Summit was broadcast live for the first time as Starlink continued to demonstrate its value to the BRT family. A long trip with delays and an occasional snag continue to demonstrate and showcase the everyday trials and tribulations of both Big Rig Steve and all other OTR drivers and how they overcome and persevere these challenges to make deliveries on time.
