- Additional Notes: Steve started this trip searching for an empty trailer. After getting his pre-loaded trailer approved to take, Steve set out for Ohio en-route to Indiana. At 6:44PM, after crossing an overpass near Cambridge Ohio, Steve noticed a tire blew on the trailer he was pulling. He proceeded to pull over safely, then moved forward to an off-ramp where he called roadside assistance. Around 11PM, help arrived and fixed the tire and Mud Flap. Steve chose to stay the night on the off ramp after moving forward a bit because he was out of time on his 14 hour clock. Nearly five hours after the tire blew Steve was able to retreat to the cab for some shut eye. Monday, Steve did a split because he only had three hours. The trip was completed on Tuesday morning in Mooresville. As Steve explained, these mishaps are all part of trucking.
