Big Rig Travels broadcast day began 7:49 near Independence California after the overnight and sun rise off the mountain ️ view were captured by the 24/7 snowman camera.
8:14 stopped for first field trip scooter ride near Lone Pine begins on the second stream of the day at 8:23 unfortunately the brand new phone took two tumbles and ended up with damage to display screen. Casualty of the rough gravel road and gravity. Dag nabit ( No Steve did not fall off scooter just the camera phone did)
9:28 Start of third stream we roll down US395 a little ways further to stop at 9:43 for another field trip.
11:33 BRS and the road crew observed multiple vehicles passing illegally in non passing zone leading up and across railroad crossing. BRS said “ Look at that”
12:08 Highway 58 west towards Boron CA to the Loves ❤️ for refer fuel ⛽️ and fresh coffee 13:12 we pass RC on side of the road in the desert holding up a BRT ROCKS sign near Adelanto CA BRS honked Blue Comet horn and quickly pulled over so we could get to see her. Yes it was Penny whom Steve had met on a previous trip through here and has been sited previously in the ditch by BRS
Greg, Lizod, Broncowilly, Jonathan, you have some competition. 14:15 It was a special day for Don Murray finally being able to meet Big Rig Steve after many years. Yes Road Crew enjoyed seeing and waving to Don, Terry and puppy Brick visit with BRS.
Numbers : 54 mile 86 km to the receiver, we covered 196 miles 315 km rolling through California .
Clocks : 6:22 hours on 11 hr, 7:13 hours on 14 hr, 13:35 hours on 70 hr, gain back 8:54 hours tomorrow morning. We are 21 gallons away from reaching Loves gold status for August.
