Gallup, NM to Phoenix, AZ
Big Rig Travels Thursday began at 7:47 am at the Love’s near Gallup, NM. One recording 6 hrs. It is 61 degrees and mostly cloudy. “Good morning everybody. Virtually no signal out here.” We are continuing our trip to Tolleson, AZ. Back onto I-40 west. “Alright, we got some mountains today.”
“Alright, welcome to Arizona” at 7:06 near Lupton.
“Can you believe it? We actually made it back out here. I though we would never see the west again.”
Love’s stop near Joseph City, AZ at 8:25 am. Fuel for all tanks, then back onto I-40 at 8:58 am.
“We got a whole lot of mountains to climb.”
Exit off of I-40, near Flagstaff, AZ at 10:15 am onto I-17 south towards Phoenix, AZ. Elevation 6955 ft.
Arrival at Phoenix, AZ, elevation 1057 ft. Steve noted, “Oh no, Danny’s truck resort is now a TA, that’s not cool.” Clocks stopped at 12:54 pm. It is 98 degrees and mostly sunny at the Flying J. Delivery is tomorrow morning at 7:00 am.
Numbers: not discussed.
Clocks: 5:28 hours on 11 hr, 7:18 hours on 14 hr, 35:04 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
