Weekend Edition of BRT

Big Rig Steve officially done at 15:52 EDT safely parked near Gary, Indiana.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 10:31 EDT near Millbury, OH.  “Short title trip today.  Welcome to weekend edition of BRT.

Pulled over at 10:45 EDT to do a little something quick before getting onto I-75 south.

Near Napoleon, Ohio, at 11:28 EDT, stopped at the Love’s to fill up tanks.  Stream dropped when BRS tending to the Blue Comet.  Stream restarts at 11:41 EDT.

After leaving Love’s BRS advises that we are going to do a little back road driving through downtowns in several small towns, including Napoleon, OH and Butler, IN.  We entered Indiana at 12:30 EDT.  

Arrived at shipper in Ashley, IN at 12:57 EDT to drop trailer.  Initially thought that the place was closed and couldn’t pick up trailer until tomorrow, but then found out the trailer was ready and he was able to pick up.  Found trailer and hooked up by 13:30 EDT. “Trailer good, weight is good.”  And, back on the road we went. 

Stopped at 14:28 EDT near Rolling Prairie, IN for a 7-11 coffee and couple things.

Numbers:  We covered 253 miles today.  We have 216 miles to go.

 Clocks:  5:27 on the 11 hour, 6:58 on the 14 hour, and 20:58 on the 70 hour clock.  Do not gain back any tomorrow.
