Finally out of Indiana-Ohio Loop

Big Rig Steve officially done at 18:05 EDT safely parked near Ringgold, Georgia.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 8:48 EDT at the Flying Hook near Indianapolis, Indiana.  High humidity and sunny start, continuing our trip Bobtail Bob to pick up our trailer.

Arrived to pick up trailer at 9:09 EDT, Steve puts the camera in British mode and mutes the audio.  Status changed to on time to delivery at 9:32 EDT.  Started our trip to Rockmart, GA.

Welcome to Kentucky as we cross the Ohio River into Louisville at 11:37 EDT.  Steve points out that downtown is on the right.

Stopped at the Love’s near Shepherdsville, KY at 12:00 EDT for a fuel stop.

Welcome to Tennessee at 15:23 EDT near Portland.

Stopped for a 30 minute break at a rest area near Hillsboro, TN at 15:09 EDT.  BRS fixes up some lunch.

Top of Mount Eagle, elevation 1772 feet,  on I-24 at 1600 EDT.  We begin our descent downhill grade of 6% for four miles.

Welcome to Georgia at 17:30 EDT near Trenton.  Welcome back to Tennessee at 17:34 EDT near Chattanooga.  Welcome back to Georgia at 17:50 EDT near Ringgold.

Numbers:  78 miles to receiver (9:00 EDT delivery appt).  We covered 461 miles rolling out Indiana, through Kentucky and Tennessee and in/out/into Georgia.  8 day running total: 2865  miles.  198 gallons to Diamond.  Reached our DEF bonus at Love’s.  Currently no next trip after delivery.

Clocks: 2:46 hours on 11 hr,  4:21 hours on 14 hr,  0 hours on 70 hr.  Gain back 7:34 hours tomorrow morning (midnight PDT).
