Short trip in Atlanta

Big Rig Steve broadcast officially done at 10:40 EDT near Stonecrest, Georgia near the yard.  BRS looking forward to free shower, laundry and coffee.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 9:35 EDT near Palmetto, GA.  It was a sunny start to the day as we left the receiver Bobtail Bob after completing delivery this morning which was a bit convoluted and there was no available empty to hook and no new trip. So, BRS took us east to get to the best location to snag another trip and an empty trailer.

BRS spots a Frontier airlines plane approaching Atlanta airport as we pass by the southern part of the airport at 10:02 EDT.

Found the Pilot at 10:13 EDT for coffee.Steve points out a change in history as “they completely removed the forest” as the trees on both sides of the road had been cut down to prepare for road expansion.  He notes if you go back to some historical trip episodes you can see how it looked before.

Numbers:  no numbers today, just a short drive from receiver to parking.  He did not expect another trip until Monday.  Enjoy your Sunday.

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.   Choose the BRT YouTube channel alarm bell to receive notifications for the start of our broadcast. Check out Bigrigtravels Road Crew facebook page to see pictures captured from other road crew.

  1. Nice to see you complete a long trip, Steve. 🤔 Wonder if the next one will send you out West or back to the Midwest-Mid Atlantic loop again. 🤔??

    • Personally, I would like to see a run to Northern New Hampshire. Mt. Washington would look cool as Steve is cruising up I-93.

    • I think the possible intense heat may keep the trips out West for a little while

  2. Let’s sing–Georgia on my mind

  3. Hi Steve. I was wondering have you pulled or seen any full Electric reefers yet. Have you seen any electric plug-in parking or loading locations at warehouses or holding yards?
