A trip for the weekend

Big Rig Steve officially done at 19:02 EDT safely parked near Mount Jackson, VIrginia at the Sheetz.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 7:56 EDT at the Pilot at Erie, Pennsylvania.  We started our trip to the shipper near Lititz, PA. Sunny start to the day. 

“You all ready for some backroads?” near Woodland, PA at 10:46 EDT.

Rain starts near Duncannon, PA at 12:46 EDT.  

Love’s near Middleton, PA at 13:23 EDT for fuel, hot dog and coffee, along with a 30 minute break.

Arrived near the shipper at 14:51 EDT near Lititz, PA.  Broadcast resumes after the trailer swap.

“All right, welcome to Maryland” near Hagerstown at 17:35 EDT “12 miles to West Virginia”.

“Welcome to West Virginia” at 17:46 EDT near Falling Waters.

Near Stephens City, VA “red light” at 18:28 EDT, weigh mass station call in.  We rolled through with no issues, Steve pointed out “trucks and people all over back there, they ain’t playing games today.”  Steve thought there were a lot of inspections going on, lucky for us they were busy and didn’t bother with us.

Numbers:  578 miles to receiver.  We covered 538 miles including a swap back to a refer trailer, rolling through four states.  125 gallons to gold.

Clocks: 0:52 hours on 11 hr,  2:32 hours on 14 hr,  58:50 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
