Change of Plans

Big Rig Steve officially done at 14:53 CDT safely parked near OshKosh, Wisconsin to wait for our live load appointment tomorrow.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at Peotone, Illinois at 10:46 CDT.  Starting a new trip to a shipper near Weyanwega, WI.  There was an issue with previously planned trip.  

BRS pointed out at 12:30 CDT, “By the way, Welcome to Wisconsin” near Pleasant Prairie.

The weigh mass station as we crossed into WI was closed.

Stopped at the Love’s near Oak Creek, WI at 12:58 CDT for fresh Love’s coffee and a barrel of sweet iced tea.

Navigation guided us back onto I-41 north due to some issues on I-43, so we rolled through downtown Milwaukee while BigRIgSteve discussed the bobblehead museum that our bobblehead was donated to.

Numbers:  41 miles 66 km to shipper.  We covered 223 miles 359 km rolling out of Illinois and into Wisconsin.   8 day summary: 2087 miles 3359 km “Not bad”

Clocks: 6:38 hours on 11 hr,  8:09 hours on 14 hr,  18:28 hours on 70 hr.  Gain back 7:48 hours tomorrow morning.
