Surprise, Surprise

Big Rig Steve officially done at 17:22 EDT safely parked near Brookville, Pennsylvania.  A watch party continues.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 12:55 EDT near Breiningsville, PA leaving the shipping and starting our trip to Twinsburg, OH.  “So, surprise, surprise…you never know with Big Rig Travels”  Was thinking about going to antique truck show 5 miles south.  44th annual Antique Truck show on PA 100.  “Welcome to the world of trucking.”

BRS announces “Duck your heads, roll up your arms and bring your toes in, here we go.” as we enter the Lehigh Tunnel at 13:27 EDT.  This is the only tunnel crossed above by the Appalachian Trail.

At 14:31 EDT near Bloomsbury, PA, BRS pointed out fire truck and ambulance attending to an accident/fire on the eastbound side of I-80 with a traffic backup on that side.  

BRS reminds us to buy a duck for the Belvidere Heritage Days if you are so inclined.  Go to the bigrigtravels.com website to purchase.

At 16:22 EDT, BRS stops at the Sapp Bros truck stop near Clearfield, PA.  We didn’t forget about you, even if BRS wonders if he did.  He splurged while inside and got $12 chicken tenders and potato wedges. 

Numbers:  141 miles 227 km to receiver.  We covered 247 miles 398 km rolling within Pennsylvania.  8 day running total: 1860 miles, 2993 km.

Clocks: 6:20 hours on 11 hr,  8:14 hours on 14 hr,  15:12 hours on 70 hr., 3:20 hours prior to needing mandatory 30 minute break.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
