Daily Summary for 6/12/2024

Unexpected events

Big Rig Steve officially done at 20:40 EDT safely parked near Haw River, North Carolina.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 17:10 EDT near Elliston, Virginia.  Broadcast begins after a day of unexpected events.  Delivery was completed early today and then we had an issue with the trailer air controller that we needed to get repaired.  BRS said “this just proves you never know what we are going to be doing.  We are going to get into position today for our washout tomorrow.”  Status changed to “Headed to the shipper”.  BRS stops at the Love’s near Max Meadows, VA at 18:00 EDT for trailer fuel.

Numbers:  Approximately 68 miles to shipper.  We covered 185 miles 298 km rolling out of Virginia into North Carolina.  Shipper requires both truck and trailer outsides to be washed along with the inside of the trailer.  We will complete that in the morning then head to shipper.  Trailer is to be preloaded.

Clocks: 7:30 hours on 11 hr,  3:17 hours on 14 hr,  36:34 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.   Choose the BRT YouTube channel alarm bell to receive notifications for the start of our broadcast. Check out Bigrigtravels Road Crew facebook page to see pictures captured from other road crew.
