Beautiful Day for a Drive

Big Rig Steve officially done at 18:05 EDT safely parked near Knowlton Township, New Jersey.  A watch party ensued and ended at 20:44 EDT. 

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 9:43 EDT at the Love’s near Perrysburg, Ohio.  At 8:59 EDT we had acquired fresh coffee, had a clear sunny start to the day and continued our trip to New Jersey, back onto I-80 east. 

We exited off I-80 at 12:36 EDT near Hubbard, OH to the Flying J where BRS grabbed coffee.  On our way out, BRS explained what idle air used to be.  The frame work was still there, but hadn’t been used for many years.

Welcome to Pennsylvania at 12:58 EDT.

Welcome to New Jersey at 17:49 EDT.  Mass/weigh station was closed at 17:50 EDT.

Numbers: 70 miles 112 km to receiver.  We covered approximately 480 miles 772 km rolling through Ohio into Pennsylvania and into New Jersey today.

Clocks: 3:07 hours on 11 hr,  4:56 hours on 14 hr,  36:41 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

 

Projected start time tomorrow is 4:30 EDT needing to get to our 8:00 EDT appointment and make a 13:00 EDT loading time.  Choose the BRT YouTube channel alarm bell to receive notifications for the start of our broadcast.

  2. Watching the trip from May 5th. I find the picture quality far superior in 1080 than 720. Much more detailed in 1080. Smaller graphics don’t bother me. Bottom line, I cast my vote for 1080p.
