Big Rig Steve officially done at 17:13  EDT safely parked near Verona, PA Service Plaza near Plum, Pennsylvania.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 8:12 CDT near South Holland, IL Love’s.  Sunny start to our day, BRS “I got some good stuff done yesterday.  Didn’t get all of it done, I got some done.”  As we rolled 8:25 CDT east on I-80/94 towards Indiana.  “Wow, what you doing buddy?” as a car passed the Blue Comet like a rocket ship.

“Yeah, forever traffic jam” at 8:29 CDT near Lansing, IL.

BRS said “I need a way to get to a Target, Best Buy, Menards, any place, I need a way!  I need a way!”  Not sure what that was all about.

Welcome to Indiana at 8:38 CDT near Muenster, IN. 

Near Lake Station, IN at 8:56 CDT BRS explains a sale at the BRT store, at checkout enter the code BHD50, for 50% off the 1 million mile clothing. Also, BRS previewed the set up for broadcasting at Belvidere Heritage Days.

Issue with I-80 toll booth arm again at 9:06 CDT near Portage, Indiana.  “Did we use the same lane or what?”  Then BRS notices a big truck pulled over and explains “speed is 50, 45, 35, y’always see speeding vehicles and cop waiting.” Yes, this time a big truck got caught.

Steve said at 9:10 CDT “Who knew we would go back to New Jersey so quick? Normally we would go and stay away for a few years, so all you New Jersey folks, hope you are happy.”

Stopped at the Love’s near Eden, OH, our fuel stop for the Blue Comet at 12:17 EDT.

BRS points out road crew waving on an overpass near Berba, OH, it was Hammerhead Tommy at 15:26 EDT.  BRS noted, “still no road crew flag.”  At least he was wearing yellow so he could be seen.

Welcome to Pennsylvania at 16:42 EDT near Enon Valley.

BRS rolled into the service plaza and said “Dang Bob Tail”, Steve made a parking spot for the Blue Comet and as the broadcast ended, another big rig was making a spot next to us.V

Numbers:  342 miles 550 km to receiver.  We covered 414 miles 666 km rolling through four states today.  “Not bad, not bad at all.”  We also reach Love’s Platinum status for June.

Clocks: 3:17 hours on 11 hr,  5:04 hours on 14 hr,  37:27 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.   Delivery is not until Sunday morning, will drive more tomorrow and see how far we get.  Choose the BRT YouTube channel alarm bell to receive notifications for the start of our broadcast.
