Returning to the road

Big Rig Steve officially done at 15:13 CDT safely parked near Williamsville, Illinois. BRS stated, we will save the balance of the trip for tomorrow to Elk Horn, WI.  BRS “weight is not a problem. Ha! Not a problem.” Broadcast ended at 15:28 CDT.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 11:39 CDT near Gary, Indiana at the TA.  Fresh coffee is acquired, prior to rolling, starting our trip to swap trailers with another driver near Williamsville, IL to repower a trip to Wisconsin. BRS advised that the recalls and updates were taken care of this morning at the shop.

Welcome to Illinois at 12:00 CDT.

Near Tinley Park, IL at 12:12 CDT, BRS reads a live commercial for Jersey Mike’s sub shop.  Let BRS know if he should continue trying to be a spokesman for the shop.

Near Dwight, IL at 13:15 CDT BRS spots road crew on the overpass.  

Wind tower passing the Blue Comet at 14:51 CDT near Williamsville, IL on an oversized big rig trailer.   

BRS “Welcome to Williamsville” at 14:55 CDT.

Arrived at the Love’s at 14:57 CDT to swap trailers with another driver.  The new trailer came from St Louis, MO. 

Numbers:  about 323 miles 520 km to receiver.  We covered 149 miles 240 km rolling out of Indiana and into Illinois. 

Clocks: 7:17 hours on 11 hr,  8:04 hours on 14 hr,  61:09 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.   Delivery tomorrow at 17:00 CDT as a live unload.  We do have our next trip, details after this trip completed.  Snowman cam to be turned on.  Choose the BRT YouTube channel alarm bell to receive notifications for the start of our broadcast.
