Starts and ends at Gary

Big Rig Steve officially done soon after 21:21 CDT safely parked near Love’s in Gary Indiana.  This was learned the next day, due to stream limit and stream ending before he reached his destination. 

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 9:50 CDT in Gary, Indiana at the Love’s.  BRS had 190 miles to go to get to delivery.  It was “humid, humid, humid” as BRS started his day. 

I-80 west, we crossed the Fox River at 11:02 CDT near Ottawa, IL.  

Near Atkinson, IL we stopped at the Love’s at 12:08 CDT for coffee.  On our exit out, BRS points out how windy it was and said “you all doing ok?” as we left.  

BRS said, due to the wind we were down to 8.8 mpg, “we are getting blown around and we only got 576 pounds in the box.”

Crossing the Mississippi River, “Welcome to Iowa” near LeClaire, Iowa at 12:48 CDT. 

BRS backtracks to the I-80 Love’s near Davenport, IA to top off the refer tank at 13:08 CDT.  Then, continues north on US 61 towards delivery.

Arrival at the receiver near Maquoketa, Iowa at 14:00 CDT to complete the drop of the trailer.

Our return trip trailer, finally assigned, we learned it was to be returned to Gary, IN and rolled out of the gate at 17:55 CDT.  

Back at Love’s near Atkinson, IL at 19:10 CDT for fresh coffee.  BRS points out cloud formations on the horizon near Spring Valley, IL at 20:07 CDT.  

Darkness sets in around 20:55 CDT near Minooka, IL.Bright lights, lightening and planes on the horizon.

Numbers:  no numbers discussed due to stream ending prior to him stopping for the night.

Clocks: not discussed at the end of stream.
