Staying in the south

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 1:15 pm CST at Priceville, Alabama.  It is 39 degrees and sunny.  We are headed to the shipper near Decatur, AL.

Arrival at shipper at 1:32 pm.  Backed into the dock door by 2:09 pm.

Started our trip to Lexington, SC, status changed to “on time to delivery” at 3:43 pm.  We have 433 miles to the receiver, 10:00 am EST tomorrow.  “We are heavy.”

Stopped at the Love’s near Falkville, AL for a Cat Scale check at 4:10 pm.  “We are legal, I say we spin around and get coffee…Let’s get coffee and hotdogs.”

Welcome to Georgia at 7:55 pm near Waco and the eastern time zone.

Stopped for coffee near Madison, GA at the Love’s at 9:58 pm.

Big Rig Steve officially done at 11:21 pm safely parked at a brand new, just opened last month TA express near Thomson, GA.

Numbers:  79 miles to receiver.  We covered 367 miles including a live load rolling out of Alabama and into Georgia.  We are 27 miles from SC state line.

Clocks: 4:27 hours on 11 hr,  4:33 hours on 14 hr,  23:06 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
