Daily Summary for 11/11/2024

Veteran’s Day Broadcast

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 11:56 am CST near Memphis, Tennessee, 68 degrees and sunshine.  BRS advises about what we are doing.  We are headed to pick up a preloaded trailer near Washington, IN, scheduled to be ready 10:00 pm on Tuesday, but the last time we were there we were able to pick up early.  It is 335 miles away, but that is the closest next load, delivering to Forest Park, Georgia.  We are hoping to pick up early and avoid an overnight drive.  We were able to reset with a new 70 hour clock over the weekend.

Today’s broadcast, all the donations and advertising funds received, Steve is donating, along with an additional $500 to the Wounded Warriors Project.

BRS discusses the Dutch auction that occurred during the watch party on Saturday.  Road Crew scored one BRT stein, two BRT flags and one Love’s 50th anniversary die cast truck and tanker.  Congratulations to the auction winners.

  1. Hi Steve, what I have to say is redundant, but I think you should make it a RULE, before you start off on a trip to get one of those GHOST trailers, make the planners or the Boss ping it at least Twice to verify it’s actual location BEFORE YOU EVEN START YOUR ENGINE to go look for it !!! OK?
