Kentucky Driving
Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 10:06 am, 46 degrees with a foggy start at the Casey’s in Middlesborough, KY. BRS “put my glasses on, pull up the map, turn on the lights.” Steve fixed the position of the camera to get the spot out of the image. And we start our trip to the shipper near Walton, KY. “Alright, lets go play.”
BRS story time at 10:43 am near Barbourville KY about previous jobs.
He stopped for a trailer washout at the Blue Beacon near Corbin, KY at 11:15 am.
There was no bypass at the weigh mass station at 1:39 pm near Georgetown, KY, but there were no issues either.
Nice little drive today.
Big Rig Steve was officially done at 2:25 pm safely parked for the day near the brand new TA near Walton, Kentucky. Live load tomorrow around 8:00 am. Watch party starts for all the road crew.
Numbers: approximately 328 miles to receiver. We covered about 190 miles rolling within Kentucky.
Clocks: 9:36 hours on 11 hr, 9:11 hours on 14 hr, 40:34 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
