Two Quick Turnarounds in a Row

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 5:20 am EDT near Whitestown, Indiana.  It was dark and 45 degrees.  Camera starts in “nighttime mode.”  Continuing our trip to Greenfield, IN. 

Arrival at receiver at 6:11 am, broadcast ends at 6:15 am and then resumes at 7:43 am.  Safe delivery completed.  We are starting our next trip to a new shipper in Washington, IN.

Stopped at Love’s for coffee and refer fuel at 8:05 am near Nightstown, IN.

Arrival at the Blue Beacon at 9:17 am near Indianapolis, IN.  “Looks like nobody is in line.”

“Welcome to Washington, IN” at 11:08 am. “Let’s get some coffee” as he was stopped at a truck stop near shipper.

Arrived early at the shipper at 11:36 am.  Broadcast ends, live load appointment was scheduled for 10:00 pm.

Broadcast resumes at 12:13 pm, “how cool is that, alright let’s go.  Two quick turn arounds in a row.”  Status changed to on time to delivery as we head towards Forest Park, Georgia.

Cross into central time zone at 11:51 am near Retersburg, IN.

Stopped at the Love’s near Haubstadt, IN at 12:18 pm, fuel for all tanks. 

Welcome to Kentucky at 1:06 pm near Henderson, KY.

Welcome to Tennessee at 2:41 pm near Clarksville, TN.

Big Rig Steve officially done at 3:09 pm CDT safely parked near Coopertown, Tennessee, where it was 72 degrees and sunshine.  Watch party starts.

Numbers:  294 miles to receiver.  Delivery time is 9:00 pm EDT tomorrow, live unload.  We covered 404 miles including two customers today and a trailer washout, rolling out of Indiana, through Kentucky and into Tennessee.  99 gallons to Love’s Gold Status for November.

Clocks: 2:22 hours on 11 hr,  2:42 hours on 14 hr,  52:51 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
