Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 9:25 PDT on the street near yesterday’s receiver in the City of Industry, California. We rolled out to the next shipper going back the way we had traveled yesterday to get here. We saw an elephant on a hill which was later discovered to be a prehistoric mammoth on the hill. Thanks to BRT moderator ATH for sharing images on BRT discord channel.
Arrival at next shipper we checked in and parked in staging area back outside of the shipper to wait for our 22:00 PDT live load. Watch party while we are waiting. BRS chats with Road Crew answering the usual questions. We get lucky and loaded 8 hours early so we work our way through Greater Los Angeles area to reach a nearby staging location for our 4:00 PDT delivery tomorrow.
Numbers : 6 mile 9 km to the receiver, we covered 185 miles 297 km all in the Greater Los Angeles area. Eight day running total 1,812 miles 2,916 km.
Clocks : 4:32 hours on 11 hr, 4:04 hours on 14 hr, 38:59 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back any hours tomorrow morning. We are 399 gallons away from Loves Platinum status for November.
Yep dreaded clock ⏰ tomorrow morning for our 4:00 PDT live delivery appointment. BRS will not sleep well tonight checking the clock all night. Plan is to do eight hours split in order to make on time delivery. We have our next trip scheduled pickup near this receiver tomorrow. BRS plans to broadcast in morning and during delivery.
