Daily Summary for 1/7/2025

First completed trip of the year

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 8:40 am EST at the Travel Plaza near Howe Indiana.  Steve acquired fresh coffee, waved at the road crew on his return as we resumed our trip to Streetsboro, Ohio.

At 10:10 , stopped at the travel plaza for coffee, with honey.  Coffee was on the house for being a veteran.  By 10:20  am he was back on the road.

At about 2:00 pm he arrived at the receiver.  Drop and hook completed at leaving receiver at around 3:00 pm.  He was headed towards the next shipper.  

Stopped near Hubbard, OH at the Blue Beacon for the trailer washout.

Big Rig Steve officially done around 3:30 pm safely parked near Hubbard, OH with a fuel island view at the Flying J.

Numbers: 78 miles to shipper near Pittsburgh, PA.  We covered 275 miles including a drop and hook, trailer washout, rolling out of Indiana and into Ohio.

Clocks: 5:36 hours on 11 hr,  6:36 hours on 14 hr,  55:18 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
